At the sites, we saw a large-scale implementation of the project, which includes not only new production and jobs, but, in fact, a whole city with high-quality conditions for life and development. It is important that modern technologies that meet international environmental requirements will be used during the construction of the polymer plant, and regular environmental monitoring will be carried out. This is of particular importance, including taking into account the ESG cooperation agreement signed this year at the SPIEF between Sberbank and the Irkutsk Oil Company Anatoly Popov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank

The overall progress of the Irkutsk Polymer Plant construction project is about 40%. Commissioning is scheduled for 2024. Currently, more than 2,000 employees of contractors work at the facility. Peak mobilization is planned at the end of 2022-2023 and will be 7,000 — 8,000 people Yakov Ginzburg.

The construction of the new residential district is planned to begin in 2022. Specialists will be able to move to Ust-Kut together with their families. 30 block sections will be built in queues so that people can enter the apartments by the start of operation of the plant. The delivery of the entire residential facility is scheduled for the end of 2025.
